Dr Matthew Partridge is a Senior Enterprise Fellow at the University of Southampton’s School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. He works at the intersection of chemistry, data, and digital infrastructure, leading projects such as the Physical Chemistry Properties Data Collection within the Physical Sciences Data Infrastructure programme.

He is a co-lead of the School’s pioneering implementation of electronic lab notebooks.

A passionate science communicator, he is also the School’s Director of Outreach. In this role he works to help develop outreach projects with the School and work to expand the help and support that the School can provided to the community. He runs ErrantScience, a widely popular webcomic and outreach platform.
